Synopsis

During the 2014 World Cup, Gabriel Jesus, a 16-year-old from a favela, painted streets in support of Brazil. In 2018, he led Brazil’s front line, with the streets now painted for him. Collaborating with locals, a giant mural of Jesus adorns 20 houses in his hometown.



The Idea

In a film series for Adidas Football by IRIS, the story of Brazillian forward Gabriel Jesus unfolds. From painting streets during the previous World Cup to becoming a prominent player for Brazil, his community creates a massive mural to honor him. The film captures the transformation of a local hero into a global icon, showcasing sports power to uplift communities.
